We utilize the forging techniques cultivated in the traditional craft of Echizen blades.
Echizen Uchihamono, a type of blade made in Fukui Prefecture where Doberg is based, has a 700-year history and was the first cutlery production area in Japan to be designated as a traditional craft. They continue to take on new challenges while creating shapes and techniques that suit the times and preserving the spirit and traditions of their ancestors.
Unlike cheap mass-produced products, we utilize local traditional craftsmanship techniques to create unique and highly original blades. We strive to create knives that are functional for cooking and have a beautiful appearance.
The irregular Damascus pattern is reminiscent of contour lines and wood grain, making it a perfect fit for any camping scene. Its unique visual design sets it apart from the rest, allowing you to create your own unique camping style.
